Chiefs Advance to Third Straight Super Bowl

Kansas City, Mo. (KFMO) - The Kansas City Chiefs will have a chance to win their third straight Super Bowl.

The Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 to win the AFC Championship on Sunday. After a back-and-forth contest in which the Bills took a 22-21 lead after the 3rd quarter, Kansas City found the points it needed from a Patrick Mahomes rushing touchdown, an ensuing 2-point conversion, and a Harrison Butker field goal.

Following that field goal, the Bills had the ball down 32-29 with 3 minutes to go in the game, but couldn't break through, turning the ball back over to the Chiefs after a dropped pass on 4th down. Kansas City was able to ice the game, advancing to yet another Super Bowl.

The Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who defeated the Washington Commanders in dominating fashion to become champions of the NFC. This year's Super Bowl is a rematch of Super Bowl 57 two years ago, which was won by Kansas City.
