Smith Says Rural Hospitals Aren't Closing Due to Bill

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - United States Eighth District Congressman, Jason Smith, says rural hospitals aren't closing because of implementation of the "Big Beautiful Bill" approved by Congress.

Smith says politicians from other parts of the country are spreading incorrect facts about rural hospitals including the closure of Parkland Health Center's Facility at Bonne Terre.

Smith made his comments at Peterson Feed and Farm in Bonne Terre during his annual Farm Tour.
