Jerry Horton, of Bismarck, was born on December 6, 1949, in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Herbert and Juetta (Ruble) Horton. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved barbequing, and shooting matches. Jerry loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his family. He was a very good craftsman and he could build just about anything. Jerry passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 75. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Jerry Horton Jr., his daughter Terri Johnston, and his sister Sheila Wiley.

Son: Richard Martin and his wife Jennifer
Daughter: Tara Henson and her husband Tyler, and Amy Ketcherside and her husband Jonathan
Bonus Daughter: Tia Cole
Brothers: Randy Horton and his wife Mary Ann, and Jimmy Horton and his wife Lisa Usher
Sister: Tina Michie and Buddy Layton
Grandchildren: Logan, Mallory, and McKinley
Many friends and family also survive.
Memorial Visitation will be held Wednesday August 13, 2025 from 12pm until the service at 2pm at Coplin Family Funeral Home in Bismarck, Missouri with Rev. Michael Barton officiating. Coplin Family Funeral Home of Bismarck, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
