Raymond Ragsdale, of Park Hills, was born on June 19, 1958, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Walter Ragsdale Sr. and Greta (Roberts) Ragsdale. Raymond loved history, watching documentaries, and watching the news. He loved to collect rocks and military artifacts. Raymond loved his grandchildren and spending time with friends and family. He was always there when someone needed him and would give you the shirt of his back. Raymond passed away on July 17, 2025, having reached the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Ragsdale Sr., his mother Greta Ragsdale, his brothers Walter D. Ragsdale Jr. and Paul M. Ragsdale, and his sister F. Linell Zesch.

Daughters: Lisa Fanicase and her husband Brian and Christina Perna and her husband Joseph
Brother: Keving Ragsdale and his wife Diane
Sister: Kerre Revelle
Grandchildren: Abigail, Hannah, and McKenzie
