Walden "Butch" Jay Robinson Jr. was born on January 5, 1960, in Farmington, Missouri to the late Walden Jay Robinson Sr. and Nina (Denton) Robinson. Butch played for the band Medallion, he loved playing guitar and just enjoyed music. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Butch passed away on July 28, 2025, having reached the age of 65. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his sister Shirley.

Ex-wife: Debra Gross-Robinson
Sons: Cory Robinson and his wife Ally, and Colin Robinson
Sister: Marcia Goen and her husband Daniel
Many friends and family also survive.
A private service by family at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
