St. Louis, Mo. (KFMO) – The St. Louis Blues continued the win streak on Saturday with their 12th straight win, a franchise record, beating the Colorado Avalanche 5-4.
Rookie Zachary Bolduc scored twice in the victory and Jordan Binnington made 35 saves in the win.
The Blues opened to a 4-0 lead into the later portions of the second period. Colorado scored three straight to get within a goal. Robert Thomas scored an empty netter to secure the victory.
St. Louis (43-28-7) can clinch its way into the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a win against Winnipeg paired with a Calgary regulation loss to San Jose Monday night.
