B104 KFMO Night at the Waterpark Makes a Splash for CASA of the Parkland

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The community turned out in full force Tuesday evening for the annual B104 KFMO Night at the Waterpark, and it paid off in a big way for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Parkland.

A total of 489 people attended the event, held at the Farmington Water Park, raising $1,353.76 for the local nonprofit. All proceeds from the night go directly to CASA of the Parkland, which provides trained volunteer advocates to represent the best interests of children in the foster care system.

JoAnna Watts, Executive Director of CASA of the Parkland, said the evening was everything they hoped it would be.

In addition to raising funds, the event also served as an opportunity to spread awareness of CASA’s mission.

Watts expressed her sincere appreciation to B104, KFMO, and all the families who came out to support a cause that’s changing lives in the Parkland.

The event included family fun, swimming, and the always-popular rubber duck race, all for a great cause.
