Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An arrest has been made following a shooting investigation in Barnhart early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say 43-year-old Justin Turnbough of Barnhart is facing three counts each of First-Degree Assault or Attempt and Armed Criminal Action. Investigators allege Turnbough fired multiple gunshots around 3:20 a.m. from the balcony of his apartment at the Stoney Pines Apartment Complex, striking one victim in the face. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies later executed a warrant-authorized search of Turnbough’s residence, where they found multiple firearms matching descriptions provided by witnesses.
Turnbough was taken into custody during the investigation and is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
