Belleview Man Arrested on Active Warrants After Multi-Agency Response

Iron Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested Tuesday, July 15, following a coordinated effort between the Iron County Sheriff's Office, Pilot Knob Police Department, and the St. Francois County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies initially responded to a residence in Belleview to locate Ethan Luchas Laird, who had three active arrest warrants. Occupants of the home told law enforcement that Laird had just left and was headed to his father's residence on U Highway. Deputies moved to that location, where they staged outside and attempted to coax Laird out of the home.

Assistance was requested from the Pilot Knob Police Department and the St. Francois County Sheriff's K9 Unit. After efforts to make contact were unsuccessful, a search warrant was obtained.

Authorities entered the home and took Laird into custody without incident. Laird was transported to the Iron County Jail, where he is being held pending bond.
