County Commission Authorizes Additional Attorney

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Commission has authorized the addition of a full-time attorney for the county prosecutor's office.

With the addition of a new circuit judge on the horizon, as well as addition of a new courtroom in St. Francois County, Prosecuting Attorney Blake Dudley says the additional attorney will help ease the workload.

Pay for the position will range from $63,000 to $85,000, based on experience. Funding for the position will be made possible through the elimination of two part-time positions, and funds from the Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.
