De Soto Woman Injured in Early Morning Crash on Highway 21

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 25-year-old woman from De Soto was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning on Highway 21, just south of the 184.6 mile marker in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. when a northbound 1997 Toyota Tacoma ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained moderate injuries. She was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.
