Libertyville, Mo. (KFMO) - The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado briefly touched down in Libertyville Saturday evening, shortly after 8:30 p.m.
The tornado, which struck just off Highway DD, packed estimated winds 75 to 85 miles per hour. While no tornado warning was issued for the storm, it caused damage to several trees and one home in the area.
Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
