EMAA to Provide Disaster Relief Assistance in Des Arc

Des Arc, Mo. (KFMO) - The East Missouri Action Agency (EMAA) is stepping up to help those impacted by the spring tornadoes with in-person disaster relief services at the Des Arc Museum.

Staff will be on-site to assist residents with a wide range of needs, including case management, connection to local resources, guidance on FEMA denials and insurance issues, internet and computer access, and other necessary support. Free internet, computers, and printers will also be available to help complete paperwork.

The EMAA will be available at the Des Arc Museum on the following dates:

  • Monday, Sept. 8 – 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 9 – 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 10 – 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 11 – 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 12 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 13 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 14 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 15 – 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 16 – 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 17 – 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 18 – 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Friday, Sept. 19 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 20–21 – if needed
  • Monday, Sept. 22 – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The schedule includes both weekday and weekend times to accommodate a variety of needs.
