Farmington Council Approves CID Amendment for Mineral Area Shopping Center

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Farmington City Council has approved an amendment to the Community Improvement District (CID) for the Mineral Area Shopping Center, paving the way for new development at the site.

City Administrator Greg Beavers says the amendment reflects changes being made by the property owners to attract new business and revitalize the area.

Beavers adds that development at the shopping center is expected to take place over the next nine months to a year, with more details likely to be released as plans move forward.
