The van was carrying nine passengers, mostly juveniles, ranging in age from 14 to 18. Two of them suffered serious injuries, including a 16-year-old male who was flown to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, and a 17-year-old male who was taken to St. Louis Children’s Hospital by ambulance. The remaining passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals, including Iron County Medical Center and Parkland Health Center.
