Fires Keep Washington County Crews Busy

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Washington County fire departments were called out to two incidents Monday afternoon.

Crews first responded to a reported commercial structure fire in Potosi, which was determined to be a generator malfunction. Only minimal damage was reported.

Shortly after, firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire off Rieffer Road near Irondale. That fire burned about an acre before being brought under control. The cause remains unknown.

No injuries were reported in either incident.
