Heat Advisory Continues in the Parkland

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The heat advisory, from the National Weather Service, continues until 9 p.m. Tuesday with predictions of hot weather with a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday night through Sunday.

Environmental Public Health Specialist & Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the St. Francois County Health Center, Donovan Kleinberg, says when it gets hot most communities offer public cooling centers.

According to Keinberg it's also a good idea to check on those who might be hurt by the heat or might not know the dangers.
