Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Fall is underway, but the winter months will be here before we know it.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Corporal Dallas Thompson says now is the time to start preparing for winter travel.
Thompson also reminds drivers that as leaves begin to fall and rain becomes more frequent, roadways can quickly become slick.
He says it’s important to use caution and stay alert behind the wheel to help prevent accidents this season.
