Hillsboro Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 23-year-old Hillsboro man was injured in a crash Monday evening in Jefferson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 6:44 p.m. on northbound Highway P at Argonne Road. Troopers say the man was riding a 2025 Yamaha MT-09 motorcycle when he began making a left turn onto Argonne Road. A 2012 Dodge 3500 driven by a 40-year-old Festus man struck the motorcycle’s trailer on the driver’s side. The motorcycle slid and came to an uncontrolled stop.

The Hillsboro man suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
