Home Winter Weather Survival Preparation

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - With winter weather temperatures hitting the Parkland, we should be prepared for sudden weather related emergencies.

An Environmental Public Health Specialist, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator with the St, Francois County Health Center, Donovan Kleinberg, says if you're sheltering at home during a winter storm, make sure your home is prepared.

According to Kleinberg you should also make sure you have plenty of food and water, as well as any medications you take regularly, in case you wind up being home bound because of a snow storm.
