Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 27-year-old man from House Springs was arrested on outstanding felony warrants in Cedar Hill after he was reportedly seen walking in and out of the roadway, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened on April 29 when a deputy responded to the 8000 block of Local Hillsboro Road and saw the man walking near Craig Drive. Recognizing him as someone with active warrants, the deputy arrested him at the scene. During a search following the arrest, the deputy allegedly found multiple capsules in the man’s pocket containing a powdered substance suspected to be illegal drugs. The man was transported to the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro and booked on the warrants.
The Sheriff’s Office says it will seek additional charges for possession of a controlled substance through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, pending the results of a drug analysis.
