Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Jefferson County man will serve seven years in prison after a judge revoked his probation stemming from a 2020 drug conviction.
28-year-old Phillip Simmons, of Imperial, was sentenced June 24 by Jefferson County Circuit Judge Brenda Stacey after admitting to probation violations, including failing to meet residency and reporting requirements. Simmons was arrested in 2018 outside the Lowe’s in Arnold after officers responded to a report of a man nodding off in a vehicle. During the investigation, Simmons was found with a syringe and 12 fentanyl pills.
He pleaded guilty in 2020 and was placed on probation. His sentence had been suspended twice before the court ultimately enforced it.
