St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - St. Francois County Sheriff Jeff Crites gave a report to the county commission on Tuesday, including a report on the latest numbers reported by his department.
Calls for service to the St. Francois County Sheriff's Office have eclipsed 14,000 for 2025. As of the last reporting period, the sheriff's office has received 14,073. calls for service in 2025. In addition, the jail currently has 138 inmates.
Crites says the office's K-9 units have been working hard.
Calls for service were down from the previous month, which Crites says is a good thing.
