Man Arrested After Violent Domestic Assault Near County Line

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Authorities in St. Francois and Iron Counties responded to a disturbing domestic incident Friday, August 1, near the county line involving Donald A. Sulzer and a family member.

Deputies say Sulzer was arrested for Domestic Assault in the First Degree after allegedly attacking the victim and biting off the tip of her left pinky finger.

The case remains under investigation, and formal charges are being sought through the St. Francois County Prosecutor’s Office. Officials say additional charges may also be filed.
