Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Mineral Area Marines group is reporting a successful first outing for its military style SOS breakfast fundraiser.
The breakfast was held Saturday morning at the American Legion Hall in Farmington. The Commandant of the Mineral Area Marines, Doug Robinson, says the breakfast brought back some memories for some of the older veterans.
Robinson says the group was hoping for a slightly larger turnout, but those that did come out enjoyed the meal. Funds raised during the breakfast will go toward scholarships for students looking to attend trade school.
