Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A large crowd gathered Wednesday for the ribbon cutting and official grand opening of Owl Creek Park, marking a historic moment as St. Francois County’s first public park opened to the community.

Community members gathered to celebrate the official grand opening of Owl Creek.
Owl Creek Superintendent Michael Sumpter welcomed attendees and shared what visitors can expect when they explore the park’s grounds.
Plans are underway to expand amenities with the addition of a playground and a concrete boat ramp. Owl Creek Park is located at 198 Land Fill Road in Park Hills.
