Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Crash on U.S. 67 in St. Francois County

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A Farmington man was seriously injured Friday morning after being struck by a pickup on U.S. 67 at Commonwealth in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 8:22 a.m. when a pedestrian walked into the path of a southbound 1995 GMC Sonoma driven by a 61-year-old woman from Leadwood. The front of the vehicle struck the pedestrian, identified as a 53-year-old man from Farmington.

Troopers say the man was airlifted by Arch Air to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis for treatment of serious injuries. The truck sustained total damage and was towed from the scene.
