Perryville Amber Alert

(Perryville, MO) According to authorities, the AMBER Alert has been cancelled. They say that the child has been located safely and no suspects are at large.

Members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol are issuing an AMBER Alert a missing person out of Perryville. Troopers say they're looking for a white 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis with Alabama license plate number 50A242P. Law enforcement officials have reason to believe a 3 year old boy Aziah Laurent. The boy is described as having brown hair and brown eyes. The kidnap suspect is 34 year old Donald T. Laurent. Laurent is a white male with brown hair and green eyes. He has tattoos on both arms and a libra tattoo on his left shoulder. Highway Patrol members say Donald Laurent has contacted the mother of the child by phone and made credible threats within the last 24 hours. Authorities say the two could be in, or heading to, Tennessee or Alabama. If you have any information on the whereabouts of the pair contact the Perryville Police Department or your local law enforcement officials.
