Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - The Potosi Elks Lodge continues to support area students through its weekend backpack program, providing food to children across five different school districts.
Randy Eaton with the Elks says a lot of effort goes into making the program possible.
Eaton adds that nearly 400 kids receive food each week through the initiative. He says the lodge depends heavily on community donations to meet the ongoing needs of students and keep the program running.
