Prosecutor’s Office Sees Surge in Case Filings Across July

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office saw a sharp uptick in case activity last month. Prosecuting Attorney Blake Dudley reports that 177 cases were filed in July alone.

Dudley also says the pace has recently intensified. Just last week, his office filed 86 new cases, nearly half the month’s total.

The Prosecutor's Office continues to handle a wide range of criminal matters and says the volume reflects both ongoing investigations and recent arrests.
