St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A single-vehicle crash on MO 47 near Rocky Road Wednesday afternoon left a Bonne Terre man with moderate injuries.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 1:54 p.m. when a westbound 2003 Chevrolet 1500, driven by a 28-year-old male from Bonne Terre, attempted to avoid another vehicle by veering to the right. The truck subsequently struck a tree. The driver, who was wearing a safety device, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.
The Chevrolet 1500 was totaled in the accident.
