St. Francois County Looking for Bids On Projects

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Commission has put out bids for two important projects within the county.

The first is for solar panels for the county's Weber Road facility. County Commissioner David Kater says the county is looking to get the best deal for the panels, which can often prove costly.

The second project is for Phase 2 trails at Owl Creek Park. Kater walked through what the project will add onto what is already there.

The bidding process often takes a couple of weeks to complete, but the commission will eventually vote and approve a contractor for the project.  Due to a Board of Equalization Meeting, there is no scheduled commission meeting for Tuesday, July 29th. The commission will next meet Tuesday, August 5th.
