Sunday Jefferson County Pedestrian Death

(Jefferson Co., Mo) A man from Imperial, 62 year old Steven M. Otto, is fataly injured after he was struck by an SUV in Jefferson County Sunday afternoon at 12:20.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show 60 year old Barbara L. Bannister of Imperial, was driving the SUV west on Old Highway M, west of old Antonia Road, when it ran off the right side of the road striking Otto.

Bannister received moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Otto was pronounced dead at the scene.
