Braeden Davis, 9, and his brother, Brock, 7, were attending Camp La Junta near the Guadalupe River when the raging floodwaters in Texas spread. They, along with their mother, Keli Rabon, spoke to "CBS Mornings."
Texas officials said more than 850 people have been rescued in the deadly flooding. Hundreds of first responders are spread out across the Guadalupe River, climbing debris piles, searching cars and combing riverbanks for survivors. CBS News' Jason Allen reports.
The TSA expected more than 18.5 million travelers for the Fourth of July holiday. Amid the rush to return home, some travelers faced challenges and delays. Meanwhile, AAA forecast a record 62 million drivers over the holiday, who found gas prices at a four year low. CBS News senior transportation correspondent Kris Van Cleave reports.
