Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Two men were taken to the hospital following a crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 67 and Hildebrecht Road in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 2:35 p.m. when a 38-year-old Fenton man attempted to cross Highway 67 in a 2024 Toyota 4Runner and pulled into the path of a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by a 48-year-old Jackson man.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene. Both men suffered moderate injuries and were transported by ambulance to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.
Troopers report the Jackson man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
