Two Injured in Crash at Highway 8 and Highway P in St. Francois County

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Two people were injured Monday afternoon in a crash at the intersection of Highway 8 and Highway P in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:19 p.m. when a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by a 19-year-old woman from Bonne Terre failed to yield to oncoming traffic and pulled into the path of a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 37-year-old woman from Farmington. The front of the Tahoe struck the side of the Fusion.

The Bonne Terre woman suffered moderate injuries, while the Farmington driver sustained minor injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged and were towed from the scene.
