Two Injured in Morning Crash on Highway 32 in St. Francois County

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A two-vehicle crash on Highway 32 at East Elvins Boulevard in Park Hills left one woman seriously hurt Thursday morning. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident happened at 7:20 a.m. when a 1988 Chevrolet 1500, driven by a 36-year-old woman from Park Hills, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a westbound 2006 GMC pickup. The GMC, driven by a 21-year-old woman from Bonne Terre, struck the Chevrolet on the driver’s side.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. The Park Hills driver suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. The Bonne Terre driver was not reported injured.

Troopers say both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
