Two-Year-Old Child Seriously Injured in St. Francois County Accident

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A two-year-old boy from Farmington was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in St. Francois County after being struck by a vehicle.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:50 p.m. at a private driveway on Busiek Road. Troopers say an 18-year-old man from Farmington was driving a 2006 Ford F-350 southbound when the truck’s right-side tires ran over the child.

The boy was flown by Arch Air Medical Service to SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.

The driver was not injured and was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.
