Nine people have died in a fire at an assisted living home in Fall River, Massachusetts, according to authorities.

This week on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan," Sen. Rand Paul joins to discuss a newly released Senate report that he authored about the Secret Service and the 2024 assassination attempt on President Trump. Sen. Maria Cantwell, the top Democrat on the committee that oversees NOAA and NWS, joins.

Ground search operations were suspended Sunday in Kerr County, Texas, where crews have continued to look for those still lost after catastrophic July 4 flooding.

The escaped prisoner "took advantage of the liberation of his fellow inmate to hide himself in his luggage and get out," the prison service said.

Several organizations are accepting donations for those impacted by the floods, as well as first responders and volunteers.
